Appointments are required for most passport services. The American Citizens Services Unit assists American citizens with the following passport services:

 Before you start, please note information on the following:

New passports are collected at the consulate.  The consulate receives passports approximately two weeks after the appointment time in which the applicant may collect.


Appointments are required for all passport services. All applicants must be present at the time of their appoinment. You must bring your completed passport application form and other required documents to your appointment.  The documents required depend on if it is a passport for a minor, first time adult application, or an adult passport renewal.  To make an appointment, please click here.

Parking: The Consulate does not provide parking. Public parking facilities are available near the Consulate.

Prohibited items: You will pass through a security screening prior to entering the Consulate. Please leave lighters, nail clippers, tweezers, scissors, mp3 players, mobile phones, pagers, cameras, and other electronic devices at home or in your vehicle. Passport applicants are not permitted to bring these items into the Consulate.


  • Due to a systems issue affecting global passport operations, passport applications accepted at all overseas passport facilities between May 26, 2015 and June 12, 2015 are experiencing delays in printing.  If you applied for a passport during this time frame and have travel plans within the next 10 business days, please consider requesting an emergency passport at the consulate or embassy at which you originally applied.
